Who we are
SuckerPunch Productions is a film, TV, theatre, branded content and fight consultancy production company based in London and Brighton, led by Rupert Charmak. You can contact us about this policy or your data at info@suckerpunchproductions.uk.
What we collect
When you use our contact form we collect:
- your first and last name
- your email address
- the subject, enquiry type and message you send us
If you email us directly, we receive your email address and anything you include in your message. Like most websites, our hosting provider also records basic technical information (such as IP address and browser type) in server logs for security and to keep the site running.
How we use it
We use contact form information only to reply to your enquiry, discuss and deliver any project or service you ask about, and keep a record of our correspondence. We do not sell your information or share it with anyone except the service providers that host our website and email.
Newsletter and updates
If you sign up for updates on our website, we collect your first name and email address and a record that you gave consent. We use them only to send you news about our productions, classes and workshops. Our lawful basis is your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email or by emailing info@suckerpunchproductions.uk, and we will stop sending updates and remove your details from our mailing list. We may use a trusted email marketing service to send these emails; if so, it will process your details on our behalf under its own data protection terms.

For enquiries, under UK GDPR we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, and, where you ask about working with us, on taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
Where it is stored and for how long
Form submissions are stored securely in our website database and delivered to our business email inbox. We keep enquiries only as long as we need them, normally no more than two years after our last contact, unless they become part of an ongoing project or we are legally required to keep them longer. We keep newsletter details until you unsubscribe.
Cookies
This website uses only the cookies needed for it to work. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first. Some pages may include embedded content (such as videos) from other sites, which may set their own cookies under their own privacy policies.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to ask for it to be transferred. To make a request, email info@suckerpunchproductions.uk. We will respond within one month.
